Surprisingly sturdy for the price. Overall assembly wasn't bad at all. Very good deal for the price and looks good. The two things that were issues were the little wood bits that you put into the holes to hide the screws after assembly. They don't stay in of their own accord. I had to put them in with super glue by gluing the side of each one as the holes are too deep to do the back of each one. I also found that the bottom of each piece was inconsistent in the finish. Some had rough bottoms so to protect the floors I had some vinyl cloth that I cut and super glued to the bottom of each leg to protect the floor from scratching and wear. Overall a good product for the price and definitely worth the purchase even with the couple of adjustments I had to make.

We bought this table to use as our dinning table. I was nervous about the size but it is absolutely perfect for two people. The height is exactly the height of our kitchen counter tops too and can serve as an extension to them if we have company. We decided we just didn't need a big table for two people, and our company usually sits in our living room to eat and socialize anyway.The seats tuck under the table and out of the way and are more comfortable than you'd think. The seats have a curve so your not just sitting on a flat straight board. As far as the bench seat style goes, we felt not having backs on our chair would help poster and keep us from sitting at the table for too long; and it has worked beautifully.My biggest concern however was how much weight the seats could handle, as I wanted all my friends and family to be comfortable sitting on them, and I am confident in saying that I think each chair and bench could hold 280-300 pounds just fine.

I moved into a small apartment and didn't have a place for a full-size dining table. This fit the bill. Makes the perfect little breakfast nook. The benches can fit comfortably under the table to save even more room when not in use. Easy to assemble. The finish on it looks very pretty. Hard to believe you can get that kind of quality for this price. Uses solid pieces of wood. Not a ton of surface space, but it's fine if you are eating alone or are having dinner for two. It's tight for me and my two kids. It would probably be uncomfortable to have 4 people eating all at once, but fine if 4 people were having drinks and maybe a cheese plate. Definitely worth the money!

It seems like a very nice table. It did however come with several spots of finish gone on the table legs. And another piece popped off when putting a screw in. I kept it anyway, as I just moved and too exhausted to deal with returns. I will use a stain pen to cover spots. But it would be better if the legs were in as good of shape as the table top. The cross pieces are hard to get into holes, I reccomend a mallet hammer. Also hard to screw together by hand, I reccomend an electric drill with Alan bits.

I seldom write reviews mainly for time and expectation that what I purchase is sound, but after reading some reviews felt compelled to comment. We have a small in-law suite kitchen and tired of watching my son eat on the floor. This comes in a box that is roughly 83lbs. It is packaged as well as can be expected originating from Malaysia using combination Styrofoam and thick cardboard corners with plastic leg screw caps and Styrofoam separators. I can see where dropping it could cause some potential damage from the weight on delivery. But mine arrived without any issues or damage. They supply a small angled open end type wrench for the leg nuts and bolts as well as an Allen key for the wood screws. It can be assembled without additional tools, but it was much faster with my Milwaukee cordless screw driver, taking me 45 minutes from start to finish. I don't recommend using a cordless drill because of the furniture grade soft metal wood screws unless you have good control for low speed and torque. I read a review where customer said pilot holes were not deep enough, but this is soft wood and the screws should have some portion where the screw takes a bigger grip/bite. As a mechanical engineer and for the money I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this product and the ease of assembly. It will wear on your arm and you must be careful if you use the Allen key included because it can get close to the legs when tightening and you need to avoid scratching. Some screws may see.
